Now that the Prada phone is out, rumor has it that LG is planning another touchscreen cellphone. This time around the phone will be a clamshell with dual touchscreens (like this NTT DoCoMo phone). The touchscreens will function as one giant display, or they can act independently of one another, with the bottom screen acting as the control screen (kinda like the Nintendo DS).
Another cool feature is that the phone will have dynamic icons, meaning that the icons will move around when you tap on them, so you don't have to hit them dead on all the time. No word on when we'll see the phone, but this one's looking even more intriguing than the Prada phone. – Louis Ramirez

Despite the fact that listening to the radio on our DS is a distant seventh place activity behind playing DS games, listening to MP3s, playing GBA games, pictochat, charging it, and putting it away neatly, we realize some weirdos still do like FM. So here's a $14 FM adapter from Brando.
It's entirely self-contained, which means you don't need an AA battery or external charger, but it does mean that your Nintendo DS's battery life will go down a bit faster than usual. – Jason Chen

We're digging our commenters here. So much so, in fact, that we want to recognize some of the best commenters with our Star Commenter award, given to those who contribute to our site so much and so well they make this a better place for everyone.
Our first winner is one of our favorites, known here as strider_mt2k. Learning a little about him made us understand why he's such an excellent commenter with so many funny and appropriate remarks up his sleeve. He wears many hats. He's a renaissance man of tech whose career includes being a musician, a fingerprint lab technician, network engineer, building and designing surveillance vehicles, and even working at a RadioShack. In his spare time, he's a voracious Sci Fi reader, plays a few games on Nintendo DS and PS2, but games primarily on his PC. He's also an avid gardener, dabbles in robotics and holds a tech class amateur radio license. Renaissance man, indeed. What's his commenting secret?

If you remember our first grope of the DS-Xtreme, it's a DS-sized cartridge that goes into your Nintendo DS that lets you run homebrew apps on it. If the homebrew apps you decide to run included actual DS games, so be it. Now the DS-X cartridge has been upgraded to 2GB from 512MB.
One of the main complaints we've had with the unit is its lack of space, forcing us to swap in and out games whenever we had to take a long dump. Now, for the same price ($129), you can hold four times as many games. But the original 512MB version will get a price cut, so grab that one if you don't care about the space. – Jason Chen

A school in Birmingham, UK, is to use PSP consoles in an attempt to motivate its pupils. Staff at Handsworth's Holyhead Secondary School have been given two weeks' training to learn to whup their students' sorry asses at Grand Theft Auto create podcasts, download pictures and videos and upload their students' work in subjects such as history, French and geography.
One of Holyhead's members of staff, Lora Diprose, said that there was an "incredible buzz" going round the school. "You can use it to tailor-make lessons for pupils who need support or stretching. The console is just like a minicomputer, but fast." Lora, Lora, Lora... sigh... let's say we forget about the fact that you used to work for Sony's marketing department and let me ask you one question: have you ever heard of something called a book - or even a real computer?
To paraphrase Al Swearengen: WTF let the gimp out of her box? More on this bad idea right after the jump.
