I did not see that, but it's itetresning. I'm not surprised, a $100 can motivate people a lot. Still, this will be a problem for the Xbox and HD-DVD to deal with, not Nintendo, they are already at $250 now and are the only ones making a profit on the hardware. I think they've got the low end of gaming locked up. Even at $500, that's still a big nut for a lot of kids to pay.Sony will have to fight with Softie over the high end part of the market, but I don't see Xbox going away without a fight. What has surprised me even more, has been how well the PS2 still sells. If they can get the PS3, down to those kinds of price levels, than I'll start to worry about our bet.
